‘Ty’ is Welsh for house and ‘Beic’ is Welsh for bike and is the name of our holiday cottages near Bala, North Wales. We chose the name because we are obsessed by cycling in all of its forms. We chose this area because it offers some of the finest mountain biking and road cycling in the UK. We have restored two stone barns to provide self catering holiday accommodation Each cottages sleeps two people in either super kingsize bed or two singles.

Perched on a hill above the tiny hamlet of Sarnau near Bala on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, we are approximately 40 minutes drive from the mountain bike centres of Coed y Brenin, Llandegla, Antur Stiniog (Blaenau Ffestiniog), Revolution Bike Park (Llangynog), One Giant Leap (Llangollen) and the ClimachX, Gwydir (Marin) and Penmachno MTB trails.

Secure bike storage, bike wash, workshop facilities, laundry with washing machine and dryer and plenty of outdoor space including a fire pit, BBQ are all available. And later in 2018 you will also be able to test your skills on our new pump track
